Monarch Butterflies

We’ve had several Monarch Butterflies stop by the farm on their way south. They sure seem to love Zinnias. Monarchs are drawn to specific milkweed species and nectar plants. They can lay about a maximum of 250 eggs per day at the rate of one egg at a time.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing them around this year.

I might do some research on how to plant a butterfly garden next year. Do you have any tips on how to create the perfect butterfly garden?
