Planting Fall Bulbs

Today I planted all of my fall bulbs for next spring including Tulips, Daffodils and Allium. I ordered this Garden Weasel Bulb Planter from Amazon and it worked great. The trick is to just keep going. Pull a plug and then go right to the next. Don’t spend time trying to get the dirt out of it.

How to Plant Bulbs Using a Bulb Planter
1) Pull your plug
2) Drop in your bulb
3) Pull your next plug which forces the prior plug out of the top
4) Fill your whole with that pug

I even stepped on it to make sure it was snug.

It was pretty quick to plant all of the bulbs I ordered (too many of course).

One set that I ordered is this Narcissus (Daffodil) Fancy  Collection from Floret Flowers that is now in the ground! Can’t wait to see what they look like this spring.
