I moved my heirloom Chrysanthemums to our new house a few weeks ago and set them up under grow lights. They have been growing like crazy with all kinds of new green growth!
I thought this might be a good time to take my first batch of cuttings.
How to take Chrysanthemum Cuttings
1. Trim a new shoot just under a leaf node and pull off lower leaves
2. Dip in water, then rooting horomone
3. Put cutting into small plastic pot that has been labeled
I have found that mums are very easy to propagate! Have fun!
Update on March 12: I’ve been asked to share an update of how my over-wintered mums look now. They have been under grow lights for two months. However, I just moved them upstairs today to get some natural light.
