It was in the 80’s this weekend and we are in need of some rain again. I just watered all of my vegetables and some new hydrangeas I planted this year for the first time in weeks. Right now it looks like we have a chance of rain on Wednesday and I’m really hoping we get some!
My front bed is really coming in now. I can’t wait until everything is HUGE next year. It’s going to look so great against the brick.
Lupine.
Liatris.
If anyone knows what this is (yellow perennial), please comment below. I think I got it at the Master Gardener plant sale last year. It’s huge. Maybe 5′ tall? I’m not sure that I love it because its a huge plant and very small blooms.
Coleus.
Agave.
Basil.
My first ripe tomato.
The flower field has started to bloom now. The zinnias and cosmos are first.
What’s blooming in your yard?
Beautiful blooms indeed! That yellow daisy I believe is a Rudbeckia laciniata.

Looks great — all your hard work is really starting to show! Can’t wait to see how it matures. Hope you got some good rain this past week. Best, -Beth
