The zinnias look absolutely amazing right now and I could not stop taking photos the other night. I love the way the flower field looks with the blue coop in the background! Enjoy these beautiful pictures taken in the heat of August.

I do love zinnias – they are such a happy flower.
I have ‘Sprite’ and Cactus flowering zinnias right now. The darned slugs ate about half my seedlings. 😦 I made a bouquet today of them with dahlias, which I try to keep cut so the buds keep coming. Wish I could store these summer days to bring out in January!
